Scott Savage began Raincoat Roofing’s relationship with Lake Forest College in the mid 2010’s. Lake Forest College has been a historic educational institution on the North Shore of Chicago, founded in 1857, as one of the first higher education campuses in the Chicagoland area. With classic 19th and 20th Century architecture, mature oak trees, and numerous green spaces, the College has been and remains a popular place to film movies, among other valuable assets that sets this campus apart from others in the state of Illinois.
As the campus grew from the late 1800’s into the early and 2000’s, Lake Forest College created it’s North, Middle, South, and Athletic campuses. Raincoat Roofing has since maintained, repaired, and replaced roofs or roof areas on all 4 campuses. To date, Raincoat Roofing has a maintenance contract with almost all the buildings located on the 4 campuses. Most recently, we have performed various work on Blackstone, Harian, Deerpath, Gregory, Nolan, McClure, Roberts, Lois Durand, Moore Halls respectively; also, the Cleveland – Young International Center and the Mohr Student Center and Stuart Commons.
